Kevin Hart
Associate Director - Scientific Research Fellow Pfizer
Dr. Kevin Hart is an Associate Research Fellow (Scientific Director) leading the Fibrosis Exploratory Biology and Drug Discovery Group at Pfizer, where he drives innovative research to identify and validate novel antifibrotic targets. With a strong foundation in immunology and translational science, he plays a pivotal role in advancing Pfizer’s fibrosis pipeline from early discovery to preclinical development.
Prior to joining Pfizer, Dr. Hart was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), where his work focused on the interplay between immune signaling and fibrotic pathways. He holds a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology, equipping him with deep expertise in the molecular mechanisms underlying fibrosis and inflammation.
A dedicated scientist and strategic leader, Dr. Hart bridges fundamental research with drug discovery, leveraging cutting-edge approaches to develop transformative therapies for fibrotic diseases. His work continues to shape the future of antifibrotic treatment strategies.
Seminars
- Harnessing single-cell and spatial transcriptomics to profile rare and transitional cell populations driving fibrogenesis
- Characterizing epithelial-to-mesenchymal plasticity and fibroblast subtypes across tissues and disease stages
- Identifying druggable targets in cell types previously overlooked due to limitations in resolution or sampling
