Peter Licari
Chief Executive Officer Animate Biosciences, Inc.
Peter Licari is the CEO and cofounder of Animate Biosciences, with over 30 years of leadership experience in the biopharmaceutical and food technology industries. He has a proven track record of developing and commercializing innovative products, having served as Chief Technology Officer at Eat Just, Good Meat, and TerraVia, and as Senior Vice President at Kosan Biosciences, a biopharmaceutical company focused on oncology profile or company page small molecules. Earlier in his career, Peter held key development roles at BASF Bioresearch Corporation, contributing to the development of Humira®, and at Merck & Co., where he worked on Vaqta®. He is the author or inventor on more than 45 publications and patents. Peter earned his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Caltech and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.
