Dr. Victor Bustos is Co-Founder and CEO of Refoxy Pharmaceuticals, a biotechnology company developing first-in-class small molecule therapies that activate FOXO3, a master regulator of cellular stress responses with therapeutic potential across multiple chronic diseases. Under his leadership, Refoxy has built a proprietary drug discovery platform to identify novel FOXO3 activators and advance them toward clinical development, with its lead program focused on fibrotic disorders such as chronic kidney disease (CKD) and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF).
